1 - Red-Bat hub from 66 to 72
2 - Yellow Whizzwheel from 72 to 78
3 - Some later Whizzwheel Batmobile from 76-79 may have had the little horn indicators AND orange headlights.
Now, i have seen these before but every one i saw before was fake, where someone had painted the headlights orange, just for another variation. Usually, they got the orange colour slightly wrong so it was more noticeable, but after careful study of one car i'd have to say it was genuine. This is a variation i had heard of, but had never seen before. Why this happened i have no idea, or why Corgi changed it. This version of the Batmobile is possible and would easily have been missed by the quality control.
4 - Some later Whizzwheel Batmobile from 76-79 may have had the bigger horn indicators AND orange headlights, standard short slot.
I've heard a lot of rumors about the horn indicators error (bigger horn indicators) on late 76-79 models, but have never seen one. The numbers of these are minute, possibly only 10 were made or it could even be the only one and very very rare.
I heard it from Darren and Sean myself that the factory by this time was in turmoil, and they assembled a lot quicker than they had previously done and consequently not inspected close enough, so it MAY have happened.
5 - Some later Whizzwheel Batmobile from 76-79 may have had the bigger horn indicators AND orange headlights, longer slot.
This Batmobile have a longer slot, in anyway wheels as "Whizzwheels Type 2", if you find Batmobile with bigger horn indicators, orange headlights, a longer slot and "Whizzwheels Type 1" this car is a Wide Whizzwheels with wheels changed !!!! The "Whizzwheels Type 2" are very very rare.
All Whizzwheel Batmobile from 76-79 AND orange headlights have wheels as "Whizzwheels Type 2".
6 - Some Wide Whizzwheel Batmobile from 79-83 may have had the yellow or pink/red headlights ...
This is the standard Wide Whizzwheel :
This is the blue dashboard Wide Whizzwheel :
Corgi quality control at this time was very very poor, and whilst earlier crossovers on earlier models were more scrutinized, the later models are very prone to it, like the blue dash, batcopter stickers horn indicators etc.
Instead of the usual yellow headlights, the lights on this car are orange, which originally featured only on the widewheel Batmobile, the last version before the model was discontinued.
However, due to a constantly chaotic factory environment at Corgi, a few models were assembled with incorrect specification, and thus slipped through the quality control process.
